The National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (NCASE) is part of the Administration for Children and Families’ Early Childhood Training and Technical Assistance System. EDC leads NCASE, funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services through the Office of Child Care, to ensure that low-income children have increased access to high-quality learning experiences. YouthLearn staff play lead roles in project management, communications, and technical assistance.
NCASE has launched an out-of-school time resource library that is a curated collection of tools, information, and examples of promising practices, which is meant to inform and support efforts to increase access and to improve the quality of programs for school-age children. All of the resources are free and range from reports to short infographics, webinars, and fact sheets.
